Cardiff men 'do not wax their hair'
Men in Cardiff are the most likely to forego a hair wax for the natural look, according to new research.
Fewer than one in eight men in the Welsh city admitted that they have ever removed hair from their chests, a survey by new body groomer cruZer 4 reveals.
Meanwhile, Liverpudlian men were shown to be the hairiest males in Britain, with 56 per cent saying that they have more body hair than average - and 13.5 per cent said they shave or wax some of their hair on a regular basis.
Other hairy cities in the UK include Glasgow, Manchester and London - with 53, 48 and 42 per cent of men respectively saying they were excessively hirsute.
Male grooming is most popular in London, the study indicates, with nearly one-quarter of respondents reporting that they shave their armpits and 41 per cent removing hair from their pubic areas on a regular basis.
Around 15 per cent of London men said they shaved their backsides.
As for those who do not have any need of hair wax whatsoever, Birmingham stood at the top of the list - more than two-thirds of men in the northern city claimed they were hairless on their chests and other areas.
In addition to the cruZer 4, Braun manufactures a variety of shavers and hair removal devices.
